Because I'm honest.

Because I'm honest, I'm writing this blog. I refuse to sugarcoat anything. I'm probably too blunt sometimes. But that's me, and I don't plan on changing who I am for anybody.

There was a point in my life where I had it all. I had the beautiful home, I was able to stay at home with my baby, I had an amazing marriage -- and a lot of people envied the life I had.

People, I'm here to tell you. Enjoy what you have EVERY SECOND that you have it, because before you know it -- it could disappear. Today, papers were started to dissolve my almost 6 year marriage. This is absolutely heartbreaking. I did not get married with intentions to divorce. But, life happens. I still love him, and I always will. We are going to be able to make this life for our girls a positive one. WE'RE not the ones that matter anymore. THEY are.

I'd like to ask for your thoughts and prayers for us. For the BOTH of us. No man bashing, please. He's a wonderful man. And for the girls. They will definitely need it.

Oh, Stephanie, I am so sorry to read this. I was divorced after 23 years and it was a real shock. I did re-marry almost 8 years ago but there is nothing (short of death) that compares to the hurt of a broken marriage.

Please feel free to contact me via e-mail if you ever need to talk. I'm also a legal secretary and do mainly domestic relations work.

Please let me know if there is any way I can help you.

Im very, very sorry to read this. You and your girls have my prayers. I know the best thing I ever did for my older boys' when that marriage ended was to never say a bad word about their Dad in front of them, and just always remind them how much we both still loved them. BIG hugs to all of you!

What good is a blog if we can't be honest?

I'm so very sorry to hear about your marriage. But I'm so thankful to know you have faith and know our Heavenly Father; He will see you through.

Prayers ~ B

I'm very sorry, I wish you and your family the very very best.
My hope for you is that you can have the kind of relationship with your ex-husband that my Grandmother does with hers (my Grandfather) they (now, many years down the line) now are friends enough that they all can go on cruises together, my grandpa stays with them (her and her "new" husband, my bonus grandpa) when he comes to visit family here in the states.
It's hard but you can do this :)
