Checking in.

I'm just doing a little checking in. We're still in my hometown, staying with my mama for a while. Michael is still away on training. Sara misses him like crazy, but I am keeping her busy. She has turned into quite the fish! She is such a water baby. Just like her mama -- she loves water & sunshine!

Our lives are quite jumbled up right now, but I have faith that they will calm down in a couple of weeks. There are some serious decisions to be made quite soon, so if you have any spare thoughts or prayers to send our way, we would appreciate it.

The past few weeks we have been going to the pool, lake, and just playing with our family. This next week I will be spending a lot of time in the garden, and from Wednesday to Sunday we will be in Mississippi visiting my oldest sister and my next younger sister. That is always nice!

Until next time!

A few great giveaways!

I believe this is the first time I have ever posted about giveaways! There are some really great ones going on right now, ya'll. So without further ado, here you go!

Over at All Things Southern & Preppy, she's hosting a great giveaway! Basement Bags Girl has donated a Wet Bikini Bag. This really looks cool -- especially for those of us who constantly live at the pool, lake or beach. It is so cute, and it looks like you can even get your name embroidered on it! Head on over to http://www.southernandpreppy.blogspot.com/ to sign up for the giveaway! She has all the details on her page, but you can earn up to 3 entries. Sign-ups end at midnight July 20th and a winner will be chosen shortly thereafter!

Design Girl Blog is hosting FIVE giveaways for EIGHT prizes! And it's REALLY cute stuff, too! Ya'll know you can't beat that with a stick. I only discovered her blog today, but even so I already know I will be a dedicated reader. Head on over there to check out all the details -- you won't be sorry!

Happy Fourth of July, ya'll! No matter what your stance on this war is, please take a moment today to remember our military members as they continue in their fight for our country. I often say, "I may not support this war, but I support my husband and all of our other men and women out there fighting!" Don't forget veterans -- should you thank one, you will surely make their day.
